Mary Katherine Lightfoot's Obituary
Mary Katherine Lightfoot, daughter of the late William Henry (Billy) Lightfoot, Sr., and the late Ruth E. Lightfoot. She was born October 9, 1950 in Culpeper, Virginia. She departed this life on April 11, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by her brother, William H. (JoJo) Lightfoot, Jr., her husband Elder Henry H. Robinson, Sr., and her long time companion and soul mate Henry Lee (Jonah) Lacy.
Mary Katherine was a long time private duty caregiver to terminally ill patients, including her parents and many other clients.
She leaves to cherish her memories and celebrate her life seven sons; Henry H. (Pocky) Robinson, Jr., of Petersburg, Va., Apostle Dr. Glen L. Robinson and his wife Tareyton of Greenville, SC, Michael A. Robinson and his wife Tina of Richmond, VA., Mark A. Lacy and his wife Carla of Culpeper, VA., Tim Lacy, Pat Lacy both of Brandy Station, VA. and Henry Lacy and his wife Natasha of Columbus, GA.; a daughter; Coby Tyler Lightfoot and her cherished dog and companion of the home. Other survivors include two sisters; Shirley Boyd and her husband Earnest of Washington, DC. And Betty C. Kemp and her husband Robert of Culpeper, VA., six brothers; James Lightfoot of Jacksonville, FL., John Lightfoot, Tommy Lightfoot, Frank Lightfoot, Harrison Lightfoot all of Culpeper, VA, Thomas (Chucky) Bowles; Fourteen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A very special friend, Vincent (Fox) Turner, and other relatives.
The family would like to thank you for your prayers during this grievous time. The love and support you have shown our mom during her life’s journey.
