Mary E. Landon's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Landon, 54, of Culpeper died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was a beloved daughter to Jean Burke Landon of Culpeper and the late Lt. Col. George Landon, Jr. born November 22, 1955 in Washington, D.C.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings, Kathleen Landon Wise of Waldorf, MD, William Stephen Landon of Fairfax Station, Carol Lee Landon of East Brunswick, NJ, Cynthia Ann Landon of Reston, VA and Andrew Burke Landon of Plano, TX, and numerous nieces, one nephew, extended family and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church with Father Leo Zonneveld officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Peters Catholic Church Cemetery in Washington, VA.
Her siblings and her brother-in-law, Russell Wise will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Culpeper Humane Society, P.O. Box 1224, Culpeper, VA 22701 &/or Epiphany Catholic School, 114 E. Edmondson St., Culpeper, VA 22701.
