Mary Lou Keck's Obituary
Mary Lou Keck, 72, of Culpeper died Sunday, February 5, 2012, at her home in Culpeper, and returned Tuesday and said to her husband “I’ve had a nice trip.” She was born September 3, 1939 in Marfa, Texas to the late Raphael Rodriguez Bejarano and Cecilia Dominguez Quintana.
Mary was a vibrant, outgoing, and caring person. She was an excellent cook and she loved to dance, camp and bake with her grandchildren. Mary was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a devoted Christian. She loved her family and her church family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Larry Joe Keck, her children, Tina Marie O’Hara and her husband Kevin of San Jose, CA, Dina Marie Stanley and her husband Stuart of Warrenton, VA, William Paul Dominguez of Parachute, CO and two step daughters, Annette Shacklett and Amanda Bowen of Texas.
Additional survivors include numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, 3 brothers, 1 brother-in-law and 5 sisters-in-law.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Bejarano.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 585 Fauquier Rd., Warrenton VA 20186. Bishop Hans Carlson will be officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mary Lou Keck to Hospice of the Rapidan, P.O. Box 1715, Culpeper, VA 22701.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers who have taken care of Mary over the past ten years and a special thank you to Hospice of the Rapidan and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Warrenton.
