Mary Hellenschmidt's Obituary
Mary Agnes Hellenschmidt, 89, of Culpeper died Monday, December 13, 2010 at her residence. She was born March 3, 1921 in Rockingham County, VA to the late Millard and Bertha Ham Collier.
She is survived by her daughter, Dolores King of Culpeper, two grandchildren, Vickie L. Staton and her husband, Charles E. of Casanova and Mary Ellen Smoot and her husband, Jerry Wayne of Rappahannock, four great grandchildren, Amy C. Strader and her husband, Mike, Holy C. Staton, Crystal Lynn Smoot and Heather Jean Smoot, three great great grandchildren, Zachariah, Stephen and Dalton, four sisters, Hazel Scott, Alma Yowell, Lavelle Snyder and Naomi Kays, and two brothers, Troy Collier and Smith Collier.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Hellenschmidt, her first husband, Albert Graves, and seven siblings.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Pastor Bernie Jernigan officiating. A two hour visitation will be held prior to the service.
Interment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of the Rapidan, P.O. Box 1715, Culpeper, VA 22701.
