Mary Ann Hayes' Obituary
Mary Ann Hayes passed away on March 9, 2018 in Culpeper, Virginia, at the age of 81. She was born October 16, 1936, in Braddock, PA, to George and Alice Roderus.
Mary Ann is survived by three children, Sandra Davis (Steve) of Clarksburg, WV, Daniel Hayes (Amy) of Knoxville, TN, and Deborah McIlwee (Richard) of Culpeper; her grandchildren Holly Shaeffer (Chris), Anna McIlwee, Amy McIlwee, and Ashley Hayes; her great grandchildren Kylee and Maximus Shaeffer, Tyler Dorsey, and Bryant Thomas. Mary Ann is also survived by her brother George Roderus (June) and sister-in-law Eleanor Roderus.
In addition to her parents and husband, William R. Hayes, Mary Ann is preceded in death by her brother Albert Roderus.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Denise Voight officiating.
Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, Virginia 22172.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911 or the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, 875 N. Randolph St. Suite 225, Arlington, VA 22203.
