Mary Frances Elkins' Obituary
Mary Frances Elkins, 74, of Culpeper died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at her residence. She was born September 21, 1942 in Alexandria to the late Howard and Clara May Jewell Wells.
She is survived by seven children, Brenda Miller of Boston, Douglas Elkins, Jr. of Sperryville, Betty Tortorelli and her husband, Pete of Marietta, GA, Bobby Elkins and his wife, Carol of Culpeper, Tina Ducote and her husband, Gabriel of Culpeper, Steve Elkins and his wife, Cindy of Culpeper, and Tony Elkins and his wife, Heather of Culpeper; and three siblings, Raymond Wells of Culpeper, Barbara Cosgrove of Culpeper, and Luther “Cotton” Wells of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Additional survivors include 11 grandchildren, Dustin Miller, Courtney Miller, David Elkins, Jeremy Brown, Brandon Brown, Jacob Tortorelli, Rachel Tortorelli, Christian Elkins, Amber Ducote, Lacey Elkins, and Savannah Elkins; and two great grandchildren, Sabella Brown and Saraya Frances Brown.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Elkins; and three siblings.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
Burial will be private.
