Mary E. Hudson Williams' Obituary
Mary E. Hudson Williams went to her heavenly home on November 30, 2022. Mary was 95 years old. Mary was born in Washington, VA on July 18, 1927 to the late Dewy D. and Madie Corder Hudson. She graduated from the old Washington High School in 1945 and worked in Washington, D.C. until 1949 where she attended Strayer College at night. On December 16, 1949 she married Thomas V. Williams.
Mary is survived by her three sons, Thomas V. Williams, Jr., and his wife, Bonnie, George Edward Williams, and his wife, Karen, and Michael Anthony Williams, and his wife, Margaret; one grandson, Gregory Williams; and one great grandson, GT Williams. She is also survived by two sisters, Phyllis Yancey and Francis Payne; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas V. Williams; her parents; granddaughter, Mary Beth Williams; sister, Doris Coughlin; and five brothers Herndon, Edward, Whitfield, Grandville (Bunny), and Henry Hudson.
Mary was a faithful member of the Flint Hill Baptist Church for many years. She was also the owner and bookkeeper of Williams Orchard.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery, Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Rev. Jim Payne officiating. Pallbearers that will be serving the family are Mike Massie, Lindsey Eastham, Greg Williams, Adam Jenkins, James Jenkins, Wayne Payne, and Clifford Latham.
