Mary Catherine Atkins' Obituary
Mary Catherine Atkins, 86, of Sperryville died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Adler Center for Caring in Aldie, VA. She was born June 8, 1931 to the late Ennis and Della Jenkins.
Mrs. Atkins was always thoughtful and kind to everybody. She loved running her fruit stand in Sperryville and talking to everyone who visited her.
She is survived by two brothers, Ennis Jenkins and his wife, Pat of Washington, VA, and James Jenkins of Winchester; one sister, Stella Rutherford and her husband, Robert of Reva; a nephew, James Jenkins, Jr. and his wife, Tiffany of Luray; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Atkins; and one brother, Charles Jenkins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 12 p.m. at Sperryville Cemetery with Rev. Jon Heddleston officiating.
