Marvin Vaundell Smith's Obituary
Marvin Vaundell Smith, 46, of Culpeper passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at The University of Charlottesville Medical Center. He was born September 3, 1974 in Fauquier County to the late Frederick Marshall and Lillian Smith in Fauquier County.
Marvin was a 1992 graduate of Fauquier County High School. He was a former member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness. Marvin loved watching the Golden Girls, playing basketball, playing cards with his family, and pitching horseshoes. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan.
Marvin is survived by his daughter, Diona Parker; siblings, Frederick Robinson (Tiffany), Nicole Smith, Leon Smith, David Cropp (Michelle); aunts, Laura Gatewood, Gladys Green, Cornelia Marshall, Joan Brewer, and Gayle Grooms; uncles, Douglas Marshall and Clarence Marshall; three grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, Marvin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Emily and William Marshall, Lilly Green, and Charles Togan; seven aunts and four uncles.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 12-1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701. Due to COVID mandates, masks are required to enter our building. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Marshall Family Cemetery, 9406 Springs Road, Warrenton, VA 20186.
