Marvin Lewis Hawkins' Obituary
Marvin Lewis Hawkins, 78, formerly of Culpeper died Monday, October 14, 2013 at Trinity Mission of Charlottesville.
Mr. Hawkins was born on June 28, 1935 in Rappahannock, County to the late Raymond Franklin Hawkins and Sallie Joan Norman Hawkins.
Marvin is survived by three children; Kerri Hawkins of Culpeper, Mark Hawkins of Alexandria and Kelli Ferlazzo and her husband David of Culpeper, his grandchildren; Brian and Michael Aylor, Daniel, Laura, Megan, Natalie and Nicole Ferlazzo, also one great granddaughter, Adalynn Ruth Ferlazzo.
He is also survived by his brother, Rev. Paul D. Hawkins and his wife Linda of Reidsville, N.C.
In addition to his parents Marvin is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Diane Daugherty Hawkins, one daughter, Mitzi Dawn Hawkins, three brothers; William, Richard and Rev. Edward Hawkins and his sister Thelma Ruth Hawkins.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A graveside Funeral Service will be held at 12pm on Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Culpeper National Cemetery (New) with Rev. John K. Burke officiating.
Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post 330 and the VFW Post 2524.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Legacy Hospice, 500 Faulconer Dr. Charlottesville, VA 22903.
