Marvin L. Faulkner's Obituary
Marvin Lee Faulkner, 72 of Culpeper went to be with the Lord, on Saturday, January 15, 2011.
Marvin was a self employed Well Driller for many years and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Warrenton.
Marvin was born June 15, 1938 to the late Orville and Betsy Taylor Faulkner in Lignum, Virginia.
Marvin is survived by his six children; Percy Faulkner of Culpeper, Becky Velasco and her husband Jaime of Richardsville, Beverly Vernon and her husband, Edward of Culpeper, Betty Patterson and her husband, Ron of Culpeper, Mary Green and her husband, Ricky of Unionville and Linda Lamb and her husband Steve also of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren along with two of Marvin’s sisters; Sadie Apperson and Hazel Crist.
In addition to his parents, Marvin is preceded in death by eleven of his siblings.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
A funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the Trinity Baptist Church, 8803 James Madison Hwy, Warrenton, with the Pastor Vinton Williams officiating.
Interment will follow at the Woodland United Methodist Church Cemetery in Culpeper.
Marvin’s grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Trinity Baptist Church, 8803 James Madison Hwy, Warrenton, Virginia 20187.
