Martha Frances Van Pelt's Obituary
Martha Frances Van Pelt, 62, of Richardsville passed away on Tuesday, December 02, 2014 at UVA Culpeper Hospital. She was born October 8, 1952 in Richardsville to the late Allen and Catherine Mastin Feagan.
Mrs. Van Pelt was active in ministry for 37 years as a pastor’s wife.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Barry Van Pelt; three children, Jeremy Van Pelt and his wife, Jinli of Oakland, MI, Catherine Van Pelt and Christie El-Nemr and her husband, Khaled of Richardsville; three siblings, Charles Feagan and his wife, Sue of Richardsville, Allen Feagan and his wife, Valerie of Richardsville and Catherine Slemp of Fredericksburg; and two grandchildren, Daniel Van Pelt and James Walid El-Nemr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Dr. Neil Van Pelt.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11 am at Richardsville United Methodist Church, 29235 Richards Ferry Rd., Richardsville, VA with Rev. Sandy Martin and Rev. Stan Mulford officiating.
Interment will follow in Richardsville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
