Martha Susan Staiger's Obituary
Martha Susan McIlwee Staiger (Cissy) of Stevensburg, VA. went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 10, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born November 4, 1964 in Leesburg, VA.
Cissy leaves behind her wonderful parents, Kenneth and Martha McIlwee; her three amazing daughters, Elizabeth and husband Kyle Martin, Sarah Staiger, and Kathleen and husband Roger Toliver; her beautiful granddaughters, McKenzie and Zoey Toliver; her loving brothers, Brad and wife Dianna McIlwee, Richard and wife Debbie McIlwee; one nephew; four nieces; two great-nieces; six great nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 1:00pm at Lael Baptist Church, 23296 Germanna Highway, Lignum, VA. 22726 with Pastor Bill McMahon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 10127 Plank Road, Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA. 22553. Pallbearers serving the family will be Kyle Martin, Roger Toliver, Craig McIlwee, Chris Sheaffer, Greg Thomas and Josh Acors.
