Marsh Erwin Wright's Obituary
LCDR USN (Ret.), Marsh Erwin Wright, 80, of Fredericksburg passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He retired from the US Navy as a Lieutenant Commander after 25 years of service.
Marsh was a Master Mason, a Past Associate Bethel Guardian of Job’s Daughters and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
He enjoyed painting, gardening, theatre and reading.
Marsh is survived by a son, Michael Wright and his wife, Kelly of Norfolk; a daughter, Michelle Ditzler and her husband, Dan and his pride and joy, their children, Daria and Connor Ditzler, all of Fredericksburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Wright; his parents, Marsh and Pauline Wright and a brother, James Wright.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 30, 2012 at 1:00PM in Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Marsh’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in his memory to the Navy SEAL Foundation 1619 D Street Bldg. 5326 Virginia Beach, VA 23459.
