Mark W. Oakley's Obituary
Mark W. Oakley, 56, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital with his family by his side.
He was a talented plumber who worked for many companies in Northern Virginia. Mark was always there for his family and friends and would give any of them the shirt off his back. He loved animals and they loved him back. Mark will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all those who loved him.
Mark is survived by his mother, Mary Oakley, a brother, Dale, and his wife, Dana, a son, Matthew, one grandson, Mason, and other loving extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mark’s name to the American Cancer Society, cancer.org/donate .
