Marjorie Lee Williams' Obituary
Marjorie “Margie” Lee Williams, 66, went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 26, 2026 at Fauquier Hospital. She was born December 6, 1959 to Melvin O. Williams and Gladys M. Williams. She was raised in Rappahannock County with the help of her grandparents, the late Pate and Alice Tharp, and her Aunt Mary.
Margie was known for her big smile and eyes, loving ways and giving heart. She enjoyed working as a Sunday School Teacher and as a caregiver.
Her favorite pastime was hanging out with her beloved dogs, Brittany and Sam, and playing with her stuffed animals.
In addition to her mom, Gladys Williams, she is survived by her sister, Melissa Richardson (Charles); her niece, Cassandra Richardson; her nephew, Stephen Richardson; and a large extended family of numerous aunts, uncles, and her special Aunt Mary.
Margie was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Williams; her brothers, Roy Allen Williams and Michael Williams; and her sweetheart, Virgil Payne.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A private graveside will be held at Sperryville Cemetery at a later date.
Pallbearers will be Glen Tharp, Darren Tharp, Johnathon Horton, Zane Horton, Gary Myers, Bryce Peregory, and Clevie Hawkins.
