Marjorie Evelyn Thomas' Obituary
Marjorie Evelyn Thomas, 80, of Spotsylvania County passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 at her home.
Marjorie enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, volunteering at the local hospital with her League of Friends Charity in Brittain, researching her family ancestry and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Stephen William Josephs of Spain; a daughter, Helen Scott and her partner, George of Spotsylvania; three grandchildren, Tessa Scott, Addy Wiggins and her husband, Brandon and Vicki Ryan; two great grandchildren, Ellie and James; her dear friend, Dierdre; and two nieces, Diana and Sue and their respective family.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Tudor Thomas; her brother, Leonard Chandler and her sister, Vera Chandler.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, Marjorie’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
