Marion Clark Tilley's Obituary
Marion Clark Tilley, 71, of Culpeper died Monday, September 10, 2007 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born October 23, 1935 in Patrick County, VA to the late John J. Tilley and Annie Pearl Smith Tilley.
Mr. Tilley served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member Moravian Church in Mt. Airy, NC. He enjoyed watching sports and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty seven years, Dolly Jane Tilley, his three children, Scott Ward Tilley and Dana C. Cantrell, both of Culpeper, and Drew W. Tilley and his wife, Lisa of Fairfax.
Addition survivors include three brothers, Wallace G. Tilley, Nelson C. Tilley, and James R. Tilley, and three grandchildren, Grace Ann Cantrell, Jane Pearl Cantrell, and Luke William Tilley.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Chaz Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery (New) with military honors provided by Culpeper American Legion Post # 330 and V.F.W. Post # 2524.
