Marion Perry's Obituary
Marion Perry (grandma to most of us) went home to be with her Lord on June 2, while visiting family in Spartanburg, SC.
Marion was born on May 12, 1945 in Newport News, VA and passed away at the age of 78.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Joyce and Kenneth Biggs of Fredericksburg, VA; her son, Ronald and Crystal Jones of Richmond, VA; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Ford Hollins; her husband, John Perry; brothers, Lester (Jimmy) Johns and Thomas Johns; and her son, Robert Jones.
Marion worked 30 years for Philip Morris and drove a school bus for Henrico County Public Schools for more than 20 years. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and would always fuss if she didn’t get a hug fast enough.
She loved her home, loved to work out in her flower beds and she loved her church family at Crossroads Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:15 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Crossroads Baptist Church, 4236 Lee Hill School Dr., Fredericksburg, VA, with a funeral service to follow. A private burial will be held at the family cemetery in Manakin-Sabot, VA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Prophet’s Chamber Project at Crossroads Baptist Church, 4236 Lee Hill School Dr., Fredericksburg, VA, 22408.
