Mario Moznich's Obituary
Mario Moznich, 76, of Rixeyville died Friday, August 30, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 4, 1943 in Resia, Italy to the late Domenico and Maria Moznich.
Mr. Moznich was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. In August 1966, he started working on the cruise line Linea “C” and traveled all over the world. He became a US citizen in the early 1980’s and retired from the water and sewer department for the City of Manassas.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lydia Harry; one son, Peter A. Moznich; two siblings, Emma Moznich, and Aldo Moznich (Teresa), both of Italy; and three grandchildren, Autumn M., Emma A., and Eli J. Moznich.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Marie Moznich.
The family will hold a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 114 E Edmondson St, Culpeper, VA with Father Kevin Walsh officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, www.mskcc.org
