Marilyn Joyce Hanick's Obituary
Marilyn Joyce Hanick: 83, November 9, 1933-January 14, 2017- beloved wife, mother and grandmother is survived by her husband, Robert J. Hanick; son, Mitchell Scott Hanick; daughter, Valerie Paula Cymes; brother, Stephen Paul Bell; son-in-law, Jano Cymes; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Born in San Francisco in 1933 to Mervyn and Sally Bell, Marilyn grew up to become a beautiful young woman who worked in modeling and the fashion business. She was a very talented artist, who not only taught art classes, but also sold many of her paintings and other art pieces, including beautiful beaded jewelry. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who wanted nothing more than to make the ones she loved happy. She is deeply loved by her family and friends, and words cannot express how greatly missed she will be.
The family will be holding a private ceremony at Culpeper National Cemetery. A gathering of friends and family will be held at the home of Jano and Valerie Cymes on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
