Marilyn Leonora Barber's Obituary
Marilyn Leonora Barber, 78, of Culpeper, died Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Commonwealth Senior Living at Front Royal. She was born July 14, 1944 in Arlington to the late Leonora McCue and Clarence Overly Barber, Jr.
Marilyn is survived by two sisters, Betty Lee Betsill, Linda Wright; one brother, Clifford P. Barber; and thirteen nieces and nephews, John Betsill, Brett Betsill, David Betsill, Sherrie Buzuleciu, Joseph Shellman, Jr., Duane Shellman, Joshua Barber, Jason Barber, Kimberly Barber, Tracey Chinn, Stephanie Carroll, Paul Crisp, and Brian Crisp.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Caroline Barber Shellman; one brother, Clarence Thomas Barber; one niece, Teresa Lee Shellman; and one nephew, Ronald William Shellman.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Pastor Dan Carlton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Stonewall Memory Gardens, 12004 Lee Hwy, Manassas, VA 20109. Pallbearers that will be serving the family are Joseph Shellman, Jr., Duane Shellman, Josh Barber, Jason Barber, Jared Adkins, and Bret Betsill, with one honorary pallbearer, Brian Crisp.
