Marie Antosh left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on December 5, 2021 while being cared for by some of her family at their home in Fredericksburg, Va.
She was born to Stanley and Alice (Kivler) Stuka, in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania on Nov 26, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, her son Albert Jr., her parents, sisters Helen and Ruth, and brother Stanley Jr.
Marie is survived by her seven children and their families and her sister Frances and her family. She was devoted to her fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Raising her children was the greatest joy in her life, and she was a remarkable Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.
After retiring from RCA in 1993, Marie spent much of her time visiting with her family celebrating everyday life, holidays and special occasions including traveling with them to Europe and Hawaii. A devout Catholic, Marie and her family were members of St. Jude since its founding in the 1950s, and all her children are graduates of St. Jude School. Marie was a faithful servant of the Lord and her faith touched every aspect of her life.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of her life that will be held at Desiderio-Lehman’s funeral home on December 14, 2021 from 4 PM to 6 PM. A Mass will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church in Mountain Top on December 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM followed by internment, next to her husband, at Calvary Cemetery in Drums, PA.
