Marian Frankland Somerville's Obituary
Marian Frankland Somerville, 92, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at her residence in Reva. She was born December 15, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Robert and Mary Frankland.
Mrs. Somerville grew up in Sparrows Point, MD. After she married her husband, Morris Emory Somerville they lived in Dundalk, MD until she moved to Reva in 2015. She was a member of the American Legion Post 38 Auxiliary and VFW Post 6694 Auxiliary in Dundalk, MD. Mrs. Somerville loved to dance, especially the jitterbug, and enjoyed her family.
She is survived by two children, David Somerville and his wife, Cynthia, of Fairfield, PA, and Nancy Somerville of Reva, VA; four grandchildren, Michael Somerville and his wife, Becky, of Mt. Airy, MD, Matthew Somerville and his wife, Lisa, of East Berlin, PA, Bryan Somerville of Frederick, MD and Brandon Somerville and his wife, Caitlin, of Frederick, MD; two great grandchildren, Tyler and Ella Somerville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Emory Somerville; and two siblings, Robert Frankland and Jean DeHoff.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Chaplain Liz Forney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Bel Air Memorial Gardens in Bel Air, MD.
