Margurette "Peggy" Sue Hamilton's Obituary
Margurette “Peggy” Sue Hamilton, 77, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. She was born April 29, 1948 to the late Burchel and Pauline Morgan in Kentucky.
Peggy had a deep love for cooking, which she shared not only with family and friends but also with the broader community as the proud owner of the Sportsman Restaurant, located on base at Quantico. Her meals brought people together, creating a welcoming space that felt like home. Beyond her passion for food, she had an even greater heart for children. As a devoted foster mother, she opened her home and heart to those in need, offering love, stability, and compassion. Her legacy of care, kindness, and hospitality lives on in the many lives she touched.
Peggy is survived by her children, Wendy Allen, Madison Hamilton, Jasmyne Turner; grandchildren, Clarissa Allen, Felicia Hamilton, Cody Allen, Caleb Allen, Mark Hamilton, and Mikaela Hamilton; siblings, Glenna Hamilton, Fred Morgan (Brenda), and Jesse Morgan (Brenda), numerous great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her sons, Mark Hamilton and Ronnie Hamilton; siblings, Larry Morgan, Roger Morgan, Dennis Morgan, Johnny Morgan, Chester Morgan, Wade Morgan, and Madeline Fields; and son-in-law, Ray Allen.
