Margaret Mary Nickodem's Obituary
Margaret Mary Nickodem, 44, of McLean, Virginia, died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Capital Hospice Inpatient Center in Arlington, Virginia after a long battle with cancer.
Margaret was a resident of McLean, VA and Provo, UT. She was born and raised in Sheboygan, WI where she graduated from North High School in 1981. She received her BA from the University of Dayton in 1985 and pursued her MBA degree at Marquette University. Margaret was a businesswoman in the service industry working primarily with the ski resorts of Utah. She was an avid golfer, skier and outdoorsmen. At the time of her death Margaret was working on a collection of short stories reflecting her Midwestern upbringing and family life.
She is survived by her father, Robert Nickodem of Sheboygan, WI and seven siblings, Robert, Jr., MD, of Mentor, OH, Michael of NY,NY, Kevin of Raleigh, NC, Anne, MD of McLean, VA, Patrick of Lexington, KY, Moya Belcaster of LaGrange, IL, Sheila Shalev of Lansdowne, PA and seventeen nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret.
A memorial service will be held on February 17, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, 7001 Georgetown Pike in McLean, VA.
In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made in her name to the Sheboygan Public Education Foundation (SPEF), 605 N. 8th Street, Suite 206, Sheboygan, WI 53081.
