Margaret "Ann" Yelken's Obituary
Margaret “Ann” Wharton Yelken, 55, of Culpeper died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 11, 1958 to Rebecca J. Wharton and the late Frank Wharton.
Mrs. Yelken worked for Continental TEVES for 14 years, Mountain Run Kennel for 7 years and Culpeper County Transportation for 17 years. She loved being a MOTHER and NANNY.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Michael T. Yelken; two children, Nicole R. Yelken and Michael T. Yelken, II; one granddaughter, Natalie R. Corbin; two siblings, Anna W. Jenkins and her husband, David, and Franklin Woodward; two nephews, Russell “Bud” Jenkins and his wife, Charity, and Joe Jenkins and his fiancé, Shannon and their daughter, Hailey; and numerous other family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 11 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Russell Jenkins officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
A reception will be held immediately following the burial.
Pallbearers will be Michael T. Yelken, II, Phillip Estes, Travis Whitt, Shaine Adams, Patrick Shope, Will Brill, Scott Yeiser and Tommy Kirby.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
