Margaret "Maggie" Frazier Whorton's Obituary
Margaret “Maggie” Frazier Whorton, age 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 7, 2025. She was born on August 25, 1952, to the late Thomas T. Frazier and Agnes Grace Frazier.
Maggie was a beloved woman by all who knew her. She was a woman who always had an encouraging word or scripture to share. She blessed others with her God-given talents. It would range from an item that she crafted, a handwritten card or letter, a delicious meal, or her fantastic fudge. She especially loved to sing with her beloved friends at Family Community Church.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, George M. Whorton, Jr.; daughter, Sarah Kerns (Tom); son, Stephen Whorton (Ginny); six grandchildren, Cameron, Dillan, Evelyn, Charisma, Skylar, and Jameson; two brothers, Thomas Frazier, and Charles Frazier, MD; one sister, Nancy Cortese; and numerous in-laws and extended family whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, Maggie is preceded in death by one brother, Don Frazier; and one son, Joshua Whorton.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Family Community Church Assembly of God, 120 Chestnut Drive, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Randy Albritton officiating.
An online guestbook and tribute wall are available at www.foundandsons.com
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
