Margaret Doreen Mawdsley's Obituary
Margaret “Doreen” Mawdsley, 86, of Culpeper died Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Poet’s Walk Memory Care in Fredericksburg, VA. She was born August 30, 1928 in Wigon, England to the late Charles and Margaret Cawthorne.
She is survived by one son, Stephen Mawdsley and his wife, Carolyn of Culpeper; three grandchildren, Stephanie Wattley and her husband, Sheldon of Columbia, SC, Jessica Mawdsley of Blacksburg, VA and Michael Mawdsley of Culpeper; and one great grandson, Jayden Wattley of Columbia, SC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Mawdsley; one daughter, Barbara and one brother, John.
The family will hold a memorial service on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11:30 am at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 115 N. East St. Culpeper, VA.
Inurnment will be held at Hillcrest Memory Gardens at a later date.
