Margaret Virginia Hoffman's Obituary
Margaret Virginia Hoffman, 75, of Culpeper, VA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at her daughter’s home. She was born August 30, 1947 in Culpeper, VA to the late Clyde Winfrey Tharp and Mamie Tharp.
Margaret was a faithful member of First Century Baptist Church. She enjoyed helping in Sunday School class as well as the Christian School. She loved soul winning, visiting nursing homes, making quilts, and cleaning the church with her best friend, Brenda Jenkins. Everyone loved her potato salad, ham biscuits, and cookies, especially the children in her Sunday School class and the school.
She is survived by four children, Mary Ann Wyatt (Stacey), Randolph Hoffman, Jr. (Rebecca), Donna Hoffman (Steven), and Joyce Ann Jenkins (Travis); three stepchildren, Randolph Bland Hoffman, Johnny Hoffman, and Tammy Jenkins; two adopted children; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two brothers, William and Clarence; two sisters, Mamie and Gladys; and her childhood best friend, Brenda Jenkins.
In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Hoffman, Sr.; three brothers, Clyde, John, and Ashby; two sisters, Emma and Annie; and four other siblings born alive, but deceased.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Pastor Tim Atkins and Pastor Lee Brown officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers serving the family will be Bruce Beeler, Bruce Beeler, Jr., Jesse Edwards, Darren Martin, Kenneth Weakley, and Stacey Wyatt.
