Margaret "Gail" Doggett's Obituary
Margaret “Gail” Doggett, 80, of Culpeper died Sunday, September 20, 2015. She was born December 16, 1934 in Rappahannock County to the late Clarence and Bertie Compton Scott.
Mrs. Doggett was a member of Gourdvine Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Kitt of Culpeper; her granddaughter, Casey Lee Kitt of Jeffersonton; one sister, Joan Robert of Culpeper; and four sisters-in-law, Blanche M. Scott, Chris Scott, Dorothy A. Scott and Dorothy Scott.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Doggett; and five brothers, Eulis D. Scott, D. Vernon Scott, John K. Scott, Marion G. Scott and C. Ray Scott.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 1 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Sandy Martin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.
