Miss Peg
Margaret L. “Miss Peg” Critz, 76, of Fredericksburg passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Margaret worked at Walmart as a greeter for ten years where she was affectionately known as Miss Peg. She was also known for her unconditional love, compassion and her generosity.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Critz, Sr. of Whiteville, NC, Thomas Critz of Hartwood, Betty Critz, Sheri Critz and Eric Critz, all of Fredericksburg, Timothy Critz of Woodbridge and James Critz of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Christina Watson, Kenneth Critz, Jr., Heather Critz, Spc. Jessica Critz, Melissa Critz Green and her husband, Jimmy Critz, Dylan Critz, Margaret S. Gill, Michelle Critz, and Eric W. Critz, Jr.; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Lewis and Doris Schoch and a brother, Alfred Nulph.
She was preceded in death by a son, Fred A. Critz, Jr.
Margaret’s family will receive friends Friday, February 6, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service celebrating Margaret’s life will be held Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 11:00 am at the funeral chapel. A reception will follow at the Fredericksburg Mooselodge, 11917 Cherry Road, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, Margaret’s family would like donations sent to the Moose Charities, Inc., Mooseheart, Illinois 60539.
