Margaret Sofelier Christopher's Obituary
Margaret Sofelier Christopher, 90, of Fredericksburg passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at her home.
Margaret is survived by her children, Jean Williams and her husband, George, Lindsey Washington and his wife, Carol, Estelle Peterson and her husband, Howard, Juanita Christopher, Vivian Brooks, Vera Craig and Deborah Christopher, all of Fredericksburg, Jerlean Christopher of South Carolina and Andrew Paul Christopher and his wife, Vivian of New Jersey; a sister, Josephine Brown of Fredericksburg; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Christopher; three daughters, Lenora Queen, Delores Finnie and Paulette Cox and a son, Earl Christopher, Jr.
Margaret’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Shiloh (Old Site) Baptist Church, 801 Sophia Street, Fredericksburg with the Rev. Lawrence Davies officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memory Gardens.
