Marcia Maxine Conslato Carros' Obituary
Marcia Maxine Conslato Carros, 92, of Amissville, VA passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Spring Oak in Warrenton, VA. She was born July 25, 1932 to the late Eufemia “Effie” Malinowski Conslato and Valentine Julius “Walter” Malinowski in Scranton, PA.
Marcia graduated nursing school in 1952, from Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, PA and worked as a Registered Nurse until she met the love of her life, John and married in 1960. They lived in Fairfax, VA, where she was able to stay home and raise her children and grandchildren, who brought her the most joy in her life. They moved to Amissville, VA in 1997, enjoying their retired years in the country, where she loved watching the wildlife. The deer and hummingbirds were her favorite.
Marcia is survived by her husband of 64 years, John Carros; six children, David Carros, Jackie Graves (Larry), Philip Carros (Jan), Susan Godfrey (Gary), Nancy Trumbull, and Paul Carros (Ellen); her nine grandchildren, Bryan Graves, Lindsay Windish, Jessica Graves, John Carros, Andrew Carros, Olivia Carros, Rachael Carros, Nathan Godfrey, and Genevieve Trumbull; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Marcia is preceded in death by her father, Walter Malinowski, her mother, Effie Conslato, step father, Mr. Conslato, and son-in-law, David Trumbull.
A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
