Madelyn Ivy Custer's Obituary
Madelyn Ivy Custer, infant daughter of Steven and Kayla Custer of Stafford, County passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at home.
In addition to her parents, Madelyn is survived by two brothers, Mason Smith and Landon Custer, both of the home; a sister, Stacey Custer of California; her maternal grandparents, Jeff and Tracy Duff of Stafford; her paternal grandparents, Lester and Joan Custer of Florida; her maternal great-grandmother, Ivy Hull; and her paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Peggy Duff, all of Greenfield, Ohio; two uncles, Ben Duff and his wife, Anna and their children, Connor, Katelynn and Samantha, all of Stafford and Mark Custer of Florida; her aunt, Gail Matthews and her husband, Robert of Florida; her godparents, Nicki and James Moore, both of Fredericksburg; numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins and her close family friends, Tiffanie and Eric Riley and their family.
Madelyn’s family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels – Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 65 Toluca Road, Stafford, with Pastor Todd Gaston officiating. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Madelyn’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in memory of Madelyn’s great grandfather, Robert Hull, to the American Cancer Society, c/o Trudy Clifton, 113 Tall Pines Avenue, Locust Grove, Virginia 22508.
