Madeline Norris Price's Obituary
Madeline Norris Price, 77, of Brightwood, VA passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at her residence. She was born September 14, 1948 to the late Robert C. Norris and Edna Norris.
Madeline met her husband at the Culpeper County Police Department, where she worked as a dispatcher and secretary during the days when the station was just a single room. She later continued her dedicated service to the community at the Culpeper Extension Office, where she was honored with the 4-H All Star Award. No matter where her career took her, Madeline was always by her husband’s side, assisting him with countless events and even supporting the Vienna Law Enforcement Explorers Post.
Her greatest joy in life came when she was promoted to “MeMe.” Her grandchildren were her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Madeline is survived by her husband, Johnny Price; daughter, Jennifer Brockman and husband, John; grandchildren, Nathan Brockman, Tucker Brockman, and Elizabeth Brockman; and a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 11 to 1 p.m. at the VFW Post 2524, 12210 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
Interment will be held at a later date at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA.
