Mable Reva Jenkins' Obituary
Mable Reva Jenkins, 82, of Culpeper died Monday, May 10, 2010 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born November 27, 1927 in Rappahannock, VA to the late William and Neva Sisk Jenkins.
Mrs. Jenkins enjoyed yard sales and cooking for her family. She was very devoted to her children and grandchildren, some of whom she raised.
She is survived by her six children, James Jenkins and his wife, Nancy of Hagerstown, WV, Butch Charles Jenkins and his wife, Nancy of Culpeper, Linda White of Culpeper, Brenda Bowers and her husband, Junior of Culpeper, Donnie Jenkins and his wife, Wanda of Culpeper and Kenny Jenkins and his wife, Annie of Rapidan and two siblings, Charlotte Jenkins of Indiana and Clarence William Jenkins of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include her grandchildren, Teresa, Patty, Billy, Junior, Wayne, Mike, Keith, Jerry, Jake, Junior, Tammy, Jamie, Don, Shana and Ken Jenkins, Will Bowles, Bo and George Dillon, Dustin Bowers and Jessica Leavell, 28 great grandchildren and her beloved dog Prissy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Jenkins, two sons, Tommy and George Robert Jenkins, her grandson, Rusty Bowers, her great granddaughter, Ashley Jenkins and her sister, Louise Jenkins.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Baker Rigg officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Junior Bowers, Ricky Fincham, Richard Jenkins, Michael Leavell, Bucky Sisk and Bobby O’Bannon.
The family would like to convey a special thank you to Donna Kilby, Diane Belcher and Heather Clatterbuck for the love and compassion they showed to Mrs. Jenkins.
