Mabel Soutter Kennedy's Obituary
Mabel Kennedy, 76, of Culpeper died on Friday, June 12, 2009 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 26, 1933 in Culpeper, VA to the late John Franklin Soutter and Mazie Mae Perryman Soutter.
She is survived by her children Wayne Kennedy of San Francisco, CA, Ann Walker of Culpeper and Peggy Sue Moore of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include her siblings, John Soutter, Fred Soutter, and Mildred Morris all of Culpeper and Jim Soutter of Richmond, daughter-in-law Emily Kennedy, six grandchildren, Dale Kennedy, David Kennedy, Wanda Jenkins, Kent Pullen, Robert Pullen, and Joann Pullen and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Marshall Kennedy, her son, Roger Kennedy and her granddaughter, Amy Yancey.
The family will receive friends to celebrate Mrs. Kennedy’s life on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A private family interment will be held at a later date in Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Kennedy’s name to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509 New York, NY 10018.
