Lynn Elmore Wilson's Obituary
Lynn Wilson, 73, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 at his home.
He was a veteran in the US Army serving during Vietnam; and retired from the federal government as a firefighter.
Lynn is survived by his son, Devon Wilson of Warrenton; brother, Lyell Wilson (Sharon) of Spotsylvania; niece, Annette Carson (Josh) of Caroline County; and several other family and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Elvin Wilson.
Lynn’s family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2020 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, with a funeral service to begin at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks will be required in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Lynn’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Veterans of Foreign Wars at vfw.org.
