Luvon Dungee, III 's Obituary
Luvon Dungee III, the son of the late Luvon II and Elsie Elaine Dungee, was born on January 26, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on December 29, 2010 after a lengthy illness.
Luvon, affectionately called Snookie by his family and friends, received his formal education in the Baltimore City Public Schools. He worked for several years at Crown, Cork and Seal as a machinist. Luvon loved cooking; he was a chef at several well known restaurants in Baltimore City.
Drawing was a passion of Snookie. He loved drawing cartoon figures and abstract pictures. He also enjoyed maintaining a large fish tank of Oscar fish. His favorite pastime was listening to his music collection. Snookie had a collection of old school and jazz vinyls (LPs).
Luvon leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife Nancy Davis Dungee; two children, Luvon IV and LaTrise Dungee; three sisters, Barbara Dungee, Patricia Dungee Tyler and Tracey Dungee Wallace; six Grandchildren, Jean-Luc Kemp; April , Malik, Diamond, Shea, and Sean Dungee; two Great-Grandchildren, Sanye and Kesi Grace; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church with Pastor Dallas Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
