Luther Howard Dodson's Obituary
Luther Howard Dodson, 84, of Culpeper stepped into heaven on Saturday, December 14, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born July 15, 1940 to the late Grady and Martha Dodson.
Luther is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Steven Dodson (Kate), Sherry Rudd (Jimmy), Mike Dodson (Anne-Marie), Stacy Hines (Jeff); fifteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; sister, Helen Huffman (John); and sister-in-law, Rosa Dodson; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Luther is preceded in death by his sisters, Susan Millirons and Dorothy Nixon; brother, Grady Dodson, Jr.; and brother-in-law, J.W. Millirons.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor J. T. Pittman, II officiating.
Pallbearers serving the family are Charlie Beaty, Ryan Hines, Brett Rudd, Ryan Smoot, Lee Gouldman, Justin Woodward, and Lucas Beaty.
