Lucy Virginia Tucker's Obituary
Lucy Virginia Tucker, 81, of Culpeper died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Novant Health UVA Health System Culpeper Medical Center. She was born February 7, 1937 in Culpeper to the late John and Bessie Hensley Payne.
Mrs. Tucker was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Culpeper.
She is survived by one brother, Roy “Buck” Payne and his wife, Jean; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Tucker; and siblings.
An inurnment graveside service to inter both Lucy and her husband, Kenneth will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Bob Ray officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Pkwy, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
The family would like to thank the staff at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center for all their care and compassion.
