Lucille Oak's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lucille Oak, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend who passed away unexpectedly in Fredericksburg, VA on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the age of 78. She will be remembered as a woman of extraordinary strength, courage, and grace.
Lucille was born and raised in New Jersey, and attended Sayreville High School. She spent many years of her life in Upstate New York, then relocated to Florida, and eventually to Virginia.
A devoted mother, Lucille spent her life nurturing and guiding her children and grandchildren with unwavering love, patience, and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John, and parents, Lucy and James Zannelli. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Dr. Nikole Oak of Tampa, FL, son, Michael Oak (Christina) of Stone Ridge, VA, sister, Roseann Ferrari (Fred), brother, James Zannelli (Cathy) and 5 grandchildren (Caitlyn, Kayla, Alexander, Ryan, and Michael).
Rest in peace, Lucille. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. A celebration of life will be held early in 2025 in Fredericksburg, VA.
