Lucille Sarah Lomax's Obituary
Lucille Sarah Lomax, 83 of Fredericksburg, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Lucille was a loving mother and enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren and knitting most in life.
She leaves behind three sons, Theodore A. Lomax and his wife, Cheryl of Spotsylvania County, Paul D. Lomax and Robert L. Lomax, both of Fredericksburg; two daughters, Constance L. Day and her husband, Bill and Cecile J. Lomax; eleven grandchildren, all of Spotsylvania, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Lucille is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Joseph R. Lomax; her eldest son, Joseph R. Lomax, Jr., as well as three brothers.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, September 1, 2011 from 10:00-11:00 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg with a funeral service to be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
