Louise Rolison Kayne's Obituary
Louise Rolison Kayne, 95, passed away on September 17, 2021 at Woodmont Center.
Louise was born in Bayboro, Pamlico County, NC in 1926. She was a cadet nurse in World War II. Louise received her RN degree from Watts Hospital School of Nursing in Durham, NC and her BS degree in Health Studies from New York State University.
She lived in Kings Park, NY on Long Island for many years. Louise retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital, Northport, NY where she worked as a nurse administrator.
Louise and her husband retired to New Bern, NC in 1988 and moved to Fredericksburg in 1997. She enjoyed playing Bridge every Friday with her friends. She was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church and enjoyed going to services and participated in many group activities there.
Louise is survived by five children; Frank G. Kayne, and his wife, Marylisa of Huntington, NY, Richard A. Kayne, Robert A. Kayne, and Kenneth M. Kayne, all of Fredericksburg, and Judith A. Kayne of Lynnwood, WA; four granddaughters, Lisa Neuman, Kristy Wilcoxson, Jennifer Babcock, and Kathryn Kayne; one great-granddaughter, Sydney Neuman; and two sisters, Ester Hardison, and Joyce Fornes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kayne and her grandson, Frank Louis Kayne.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 7310 Old Plank Road, Fredericksburg. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
