Louise Elizabeth Hume's Obituary
Louise Elizabeth Jenkins Hume, 71, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born September 22, 1939 in Rappahannock to the late Willie and Lizzie Settle Jenkins.
Ms. Hume was a member of Visions Clubhouse in Culpeper.
She is survived by two children, Willie Hume, Jr. and his companion, Cenie Faye Burke of Culpeper and Gail Anne Renshaw of Portsmouth, one sister, Betty Ann Hume and her husband, Donald of Culpeper, and the father of her children, Willie Hume, Sr. of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include three grandchildren, Christopher Hume and his wife, Julia of Culpeper, Ethan Renshaw and Heather Compton, both of Portsmouth, two great grandchildren, Cody Jefferson and Layla Beth Hume, and three grandchildren who she treated like her own children, Madison, Jefferies, Taylor and Brook Gibson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lois Jenkins, four brothers, Charles, William, Marshall and James Jenkins and one grandchild who she treated like her own, Shelby Green.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, with Rev. John Farrar officiating. A two hour visitation will be held prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
