Louise Blondell Fritter's Obituary
Louise Blondell Fritter, 85, of Fredericksburg went to be home with her Lord, Jesus Christ on Monday April 11, 2016. She will be reunited with her sisters, Loraine and Mae, who predeceased her. They are waiting with open arms at the pearly gates to welcome her home.
Blondell was the widow of Herman Franklin Fritter, and was predeceased by her eldest son, Jerry Franklin Fritter, and her brothers, Marshall Broaddus Whitaker, Richard L. Whitaker, and Esmond Moncure Whitaker.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Gayle Krech and Garry Franklin Fritter, both of Fredericksburg; a brother, John Ross Whitaker; a sister, Marian Reirdon; grandchildren, Timothy Mark Fritter, Christinia Michelle Gustafson, and Garry "Tee" Franklin Fritter II; five great-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter expected in June; nine nieces; nine nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, April 21 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
A funeral service will take place at 11 am Friday, April 22, 2016 in the funeral home’s chapel. Interment will take place the same day at 2 pm in Lakewood Cemetery, 17262 Lakewood Road, Bowling Green, VA.
The family will be meeting at 3:30 after burial at Four Seasons Family Restaurant, 5201 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 (540) 710-2515.
