Louise Wallace Peden Emerson's Obituary
Louise Wallace Peden Emerson, 91, of Fredericksburg, passed away on January 28, 2021.
Louise was born to William and Elizabeth Peden in 1929. She was educated at the University of Virginia, Mary Washington College and Strayer Business School. Louise held many different jobs throughout her life. She was an administrative assistant, a teacher, a legal secretary, and a grocery clerk. Louise loved to work with children and her most beloved job was working at Langley Federal Credit Union in charge of their children’s room.
She is survived by her two sisters, Jane Wiltshire, and her husband, Paul, and Mary Spano, two nieces, Lou Gambrill, and her husband, Mark, and Pat Smeaton, and her husband, John, a nephew, Philip Sullivan, two great-nieces, Beth Case and Katie Beck, and a great nephew, Matt Gambrill.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Emerson and her parents.
A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the Fredericksburg Confederate Cemetery.
