Louis P. Dionne's Obituary
LOUIS PHILIPPE DIONNE of Fredericksburg, VA was called home to be with the Lord on 1 October 2023 at the age of 86 surrounded by family. He was born in 1936 in Drummond, Canada the son of Adjutor Dionne and Marie Anne (Castonguay) Dionne. Louis received a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from St. Joseph University, his Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Western Ontario and later during his career, completed his Advanced Management Studies Program from the Wharton School of Business.
While in college in Canada, Lou participated in Officer Training Corps and was commissioned as an officer in the Canadian Army. After becoming a US citizen, he was drafted into the US Army in 1960 and sent to Ft. Sam Houston, TX to train to become a medical specialist. Upon completion of his training, he was sent to South Korea for a year. Upon return from overseas in 1962, he was transferred to the Army Reserves where he served until 1966.
Lou spent his 40+ year career working with national defense programs, including missiles; space in support of NASA; and aviation in support of the FAA. He was always proud of his work supporting NASA on the Apollo 11 Mission, where he was the recipient of the prestigious Collier Trophy presented to the Boeing Aerospace Team.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Camille, Lucien, Carmen, and sister Yolande Dumont.
He is survived by his son Dominique M. Dionne (Mariana) of Manassas, VA, son Damien L. Dionne (Kelley) of Myrtle Beach, SC and son Donovan G. Dionne of Harris, MN. In addition to grandchildren Gabriel, Daniela, Cody, Melina, André and Riley. He is also survived by his sister Marie Pal of Leawood, KS, his brothers Maurice Dionne of Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, Canada, and Reginald Dionne Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada.
Lou enjoyed reading, playing computer games, and playing card games. He was a member of the St. Jude Knights of Columbus, Council 13599 and American Legion, Post 320 both in Spotsylvania.
On 23 October, from 6PM to 8PM a Memorial Gathering will be held at Found and Sons Funeral Home, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407
On 24 October, from 11AM to 12PM Mass of Christian Burial at Marine Memorial Chapel, 3019 Embry Loop, Quantico, VA 22134. At 1PM the burial at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172 will occur. Once complete in the cemetery, there will be a funeral reception from 2PM-6PM at Marine Memorial Chapel Annex adjacent to Marine Memorial Chapel. Flowers may be sent to the Chapel.

In my previous experience helping people obtaining a pass, they really didn't need to print the completed form, but write down the confirmation code that it is generated when the form is submitted.
