My offer of words of comfort to those who are grieving at this time:
When someone we love leaves their body of flesh, often we hear, "They are gone."
Some upon hearing these words might wonder, "Gone where?"
But not I, in truth I believe they are only gone from our physical sight for now, that is all. I believe just at the moment when someone says, ‘They are gone there are familiar voices rejoicing on the other side with the words ‘Here they come!’
I find comfort in resting in the knowing we will see our loved ones again. I cannot help but think of Uncle Louie receiving hugs and kisses from his family who have gone before him as he learns to explore a new realm of existence with them. I rejoice with them that in his present not only is he reconnecting with those he longed to see again during his moments of grief, but he is also seeing our Heavenly Father who was in Jesus reconciling us to Himself, face to face. With that in mind, I can easily see him basking in a love that far exceeds his finite expectations; this brings me comfort and joy and I pray the essence of what I offer in this short writing, is doing the same for you. (((hugs)))
